Note: Alerts are configured on a per-domain basis. Ensure you're logged into the correct domain before proceeding.
- Open the Alerts module.
[alerts-overview] - Click Create new alert. This opens a form to configure the alert's conditions, recipients, and notification settings.

- Note: If you're creating an alert that's similar to an existing alert, click the ellipses next to the alert and select Duplicate Alert. This opens a form with identical conditions set, and from here you can make modifications.

- Configure one or more alert conditions.

- Click Add Condition to expand the menu of conditions. Visit our Alert Conditions article for a breakdown of each condition and its variations.
- Select a condition and variation, if applicable. The variation may be a greater than/less than or is/is not marker. Once selected, the condition will populate as a new item in the alert's list of conditions.
- Populate any empty fields to complete the condition. This may be entering a value for a greater than/less than condition or selecting from a menu for an is/is not condition.
- Repeat as necessary until all conditions are configured.
- Open the dropdown at the top of the section, and indicate whether to send the alert when ANY of the conditions are met or ALL of the conditions are met.
- Configure the alert's recipients. This describes users and Slack channels that will receive the alert.

- Expand the Select users dropdown and select one or more user to receive the alert. Users will receive alerts via email at the address associated to their Noibu account.
- Note: To quickly locate a user, begin typing their name in the empty field.
- Click Manage Slack Webhook to connect the alert to a Slack channel. If your company already has a Slack webhook configured, this will be done by default.
- Expand the Select users dropdown and select one or more user to receive the alert. Users will receive alerts via email at the address associated to their Noibu account.
- Configure the alert's notification settings.

- Give the alert a descriptive name.
- Select the alert's urgency: Low, Medium, or High. The alert's urgency affects how its title displays in your email inbox.
- Click Save Alert.
Once the alert is configured, Noibu will scan for these alert conditions every 12 hours. At any time you can Edit an Alert to consider new conditions, or Delete the Alert if it's no longer useful.
