At Noibu, we’re always looking for opportunities to improve usability and make information accessible and relevant to as many users as possible. To this end, we’re excited to announce we’ve restructured the Issue page to more effectively separate high-level issue data from deeper, technical information. This change provides product and business users with a quick glance at an issue’s most salient features, while also accommodating the depth and breadth of granular data a developer needs to investigate the issue.
This revamp begins with a change in nomenclature. Several tabs on the Issue page have been renamed:
- The User Impact tab is now the Overview tab. Here, you’ll find a high-level summary of the issue’s impact, location, and appearance, with enough information to determine its priority and urgency.
- The Developer tab is now the Technical Details tab. This developer-focussed tab collects technical tools and nuanced data relevant to the debugging process.
- The Overview tab is now the Issue Management tab, and serves as a one-stop-shop for the issues most essential management functions.
We’ve also moved several components between tabs to keep the information organized and relevant to the intended audience. For a breakdown of which components are in each tab, visit the Issues section on our Knowledge Base.
