We’re kicking off 2024 with another entry in our roster of AI-powered features: User Activity! While Issue Explanations use stacktrace and HTTP data to generate a human-readable title and description, User Activity surfaces trends in user behaviour to help you understand what’s happening in session recordings.
But what does that look like? User Activity is a feature specific to the Sessions tab in an Issue profile. While watching a video through this tab, you can toggle between the index of videos and the User Activity sub-tab.
User Activity generates a list of steps most users take before encountering the issue, and the steps they take after the issue occurs.
As with all AI features, the steps in the User Activity tab may not be accurate every time. We recommend using use these steps as a starting point. By reviewing the User Activity before watching sessions for an issue, you can get the gist of what you should expect to see in the session recordings. A lot of your time watching session recordings goes toward tracking what the user did, noting when and where they triggered the issue, and watching how the issue impacts the session. User Activity compiles this information in seconds, and brings you that much closer to successfully replicating and resolving the issue.
