Migrating to BigCommerce
Last updated: August 12, 2026
Planning a migration? Let us know
As soon as a migration is on your roadmap, reach out to your Noibu CSM — the earlier the better, as it gives us time to prepare and support you through the transition. Sharing your plans early means we can keep your monitoring running smoothly with no gaps in coverage.
When you're ready, please fill out the form below with the details of your planned migration. It captures everything we need, including your new domain URLs, any changes to your site design or checkout flow, new payment gateways, updated success URLs, and whether you'd like your existing data wiped.

Deployment:
See here: Deploying Noibu to BigCommerce
Standard install (no coding required)
Visit Noibu's listing on the BigCommerce App Marketplace and click Install.
Confirm the installation.
Our team takes it from there and completes the configuration for you.
Headless store
A headless setup takes two parts — one for checkout, one for your storefront.
Checkout: Install the Noibu App for BigCommerce from the App Marketplace.
Storefront: Deploy through Google Tag Manager using a Custom HTML tag that contains
https://cdn.noibu.com/collect-core.js. Set the trigger to All Pages (Initialization or Page View type).
Important: Once your new deployment is live, remember to remove any previous Noibu deployment method. Running two at once can cause duplicate data and conflicts in your monitoring.
Test on a staging environment first
Before you switch your live store to the new platform, we strongly recommend deploying Noibu to your staging (or development) environment. This lets you monitor and catch errors while you build and test the new site — so you can fix issues before they ever reach your customers and confirm Noibu is capturing data correctly ahead of go-live.
Deploy Noibu to your staging site using the same method you'd use for production (see the platform sections above). Because your staging site runs on a different domain or subdomain, let your Noibu team know its URL so we can set it up for monitoring alongside your production domain.
BigCommerce
Standard plans don't include a native staging environment — you can create one by converting a trial store into a staging store. Enterprise stores can use Staging Pro for a full sandbox and deployment workflow. See Staging Pro.
What Noibu monitors
Once installed, Noibu automatically captures product views, cart actions, and checkout, along with custom attributes for cartID, checkoutID, orderID, and sessionID. Release Events monitoring is turned on automatically, and your ecommerce events are collected with no extra setup.
