The Front-end Errors page provides in-depth visibility into the volume and nature of front-end errors over time, with updates reflecting real-time data.
In addition to filtering for a specific time range (from last 15 minutes up to last 90 days, including custom date ranges), you can use the More Filters button to apply filters such as: browser, device, operating system, error type, and more.
| Note: This feature is currently in beta. Beta features are still in development as we test and evaluate. They may have limited functionality and can change without notice. |
Error Count Graph
The primary graph displays front-end error counts logged by Noibu for the selected time period. Updated in real-time, you can hover over the graph to see precise values, or click and drag to define a custom date range for the chart. The Share button allows you to copy an image of the chart, or copy a link to the current page to share with teammates.
If release monitoring is enabled, a </> icon indicates release events on the horizontal axis of this. Clicking the icon will show you a preview of release events that occurred on that date.
Error Frequency Distribution
Below the main graph, four panels display the distribution of errors by: operating system, browser, URL, and country. These metrics adjust automatically based on the selected filters and date range.
Front-end Error Groups Table
A table below the distribution panels lists all grouped front-end errors. Each entry includes: error message, URL where the error occurred, and number of occurrences within the selected timeframe.
Clicking a row opens a panel with additional context.
Error Group Details
The Error Group Details panel displays comprehensive information for a selected front-end error, supporting deeper root cause analysis and contextual understanding.
This panel includes the following key components:
Error Distribution
Visual breakdowns illustrate how the error is distributed across operating systems, browsers, countries, and device types, helping to identify patterns and affected segments.
Potentially Related Sessions
This section lists user sessions during which the error occurred, including the time of the session, key [symptoms], and the user’s browser and OS. Clicking a session opens it in a new browser tab for detailed [session playback]. The View All button navigates to the Sessions page with filters applied based on the error’s URL and selected timeframe.
Potentially Related Issues
This displays a list of other issues that may be connected to the selected error, aiding in identifying broader application problems. Clicking View All redirects to the All Issues page with context-specific filters.
Recent Error Events
This is a time-ordered list of individual occurrences of the error, including timestamp, browser, operating system, and device type. It can be useful for tracking incident frequency and behavior across environments.
