If you’ve deployed Noibu to a Shopify domain prior to October 2024, you may not be getting the best possible functionality from our error monitoring platform.
By installing Noibu’s official app for Shopify, you can gain full access to error detection, session recording, and performance monitoring across the entire customer journey–including checkout.
Before installing the new Noibu app for Shopify, you’ll need to remove the old Noibu script and custom pixel.
Part 1. Remove Noibu script from main site
1. Navigate to the admin console for your store.
2. Select Online Store and then click Themes.
3. Open the menu next to the Customize button and select Edit code
4. On the theme.liquid file, remove the following Noibu script from the <head> tag.

Part 2. Remove Noibu script from Checkout
Remove Enhanced Checkout Webpixel
If you deployed Noibu to your Shopify checkout via the custom pixel method, use the instructions below to remove it.
1. Log into the Shopify admin console and select Settings.
2. Select Customer Events
3. Find your Noibu custom pixel and click the ellipsis (...) menu. Click ‘Delete’.
4. Confirm deletion of the custom pixel by clicking ‘Delete’
Remove Liquid Checkout script
If you deployed Noibu to your Shopify checkout via the legacy Liquid Checkout method, use the instructions from Step 1 above to find your checkout.liquid file. Then, remove the following Noibu tag from this template file:

3. Install the new Noibu app for Shopify
After completing the steps above you can install the new Noibu app via the Shopify App Marketplace. This installation requires no coding or manual script deployment, and takes just a few minutes. Learn more here.
