Key functionality for BigCommerce deployments
Viewing BigCommerce events and attributes in session replays
As Noibu collects session recordings from users on your BigCommerce store, it also automatically tracks several relevant BigCommerce events and attributes.
Note: this functionality requires the latest version of the Noibu app. Learn how to update here. |
Within the session playback timeline, Noibu will display key BigCommerce events to indicate key shopper interactions – such as viewing a product page, adding/removing items from cart, beginning checkout, and more. This helps you gain deeper context into the customer’s journey across your storefront.
By navigating to the Details tab, you can see Custom Attributes logged specifically from your BigCommerce storefront:
- cartID
- checkoutID
- orderID
- sessionID
These custom attributes can serve as helpful diagnostic information for customer success teams investigating an issue, or for technical teams looking to reproduce and debug an error. Learn more about session replay in Noibu.
Reviewing release events
The Noibu app for BigCommerce also automatically enables release event monitoring in Noibu via the Events page, as well as visual indicators on issue and performance charts.
Note: this functionality requires the latest version of the Noibu app. Learn how to update here. |
Tracking release events can help engineering teams correlate code deployments to changes in issue trends. For example, if a release occurred on January 22, and new issues appeared on January 23, a new team may deduce that the deployment inadvertently introduced new errors to the site.
