After identifying an individual session that illustrates friction or an issue, the next step is to assess its broader relevance and communicate findings with your team. Session replays don’t just tell a single story—they can be entry points to uncovering trends, prioritizing fixes, and rallying cross-functional alignment. Product and technical teams can evaluate impact, identify recurring patterns, and share evidence-backed insights with developers and stakeholders.
Review session playback to visually assess user frustration:
- Identify clear moments of friction.
- Check for symptoms and funnel progression in the timeline.
- Read any existing teammate notes.
Gauge if the session behaviour is part of a larger pattern:
- Apply filters in the Sessions index to surface similar sessions (symptoms, funnel stage, browser, etc.).
- View the Session Details page, including the Same Browser Sessions tab to evaluate repeated issues for the same user.
Pin relevant sessions and share findings:
- Use the “Copy Link” icon to copy a time-stamped link to the session that can be shared with teammates via email, Jira, or other channels. Also consider taking screenshots as necessary. Use these artifacts to create a bug ticket or documentation for development.
- If an associated issue exists in Noibu, pin the session to the relevant issue.
Click on the orange link of any associated issues to begin investigating the technical error in more detail.
After sharing a link to the session and any relevant issues with your development team, they can begin the process of reproducing and debugging the problem.
